This is the contractor we hired to remodel both our bathrooms. It was a disaster. We only hired him because of the verbal agreement he made with us to beat out another contractor, who bid us a very good price. He did start the project with in days after we hired him. We did ask to see his portfolio, which he never provided and we did request a written contract, once again which was not provided. We had to beg him for receipt of payment and still did not receive our final receipt. He started taking advantage of my husband and my absence during the job. He had my husband purchasing items that he told me he would take care of. We spent about $800 more with him than the other guy was going to charge us. He was not a man of his word and he did not take pride in his work. 3 days in to the project he sent us a written contract that was completely opposite of what we verbally agreed to. He basically wrote his own ticket to free money and opened up the contract to never ending spending. Problem was, we already gave him half of the money, big mistake. Although disgusted with him, we knew we would lose $2500. The job was finished in a little over 2 wks. The bathrooms look nice, but that is because we purchased very good products. The drywall is lumpy and bumpy, the tiles were not cut perfectly, there were small slivers of tiles placed in as filler because of measurement mistakes. Overall, th details were not paid close attention to. It looks like my husband and I did this ourselves. 1 wk after the project was completed our walls in the master bath started cracking from the top of the wall down through the grout. We contacted Mr. Christopher Won to explain the problem, he stated he would be here at 1400, didn't show up at all. He sent one of his workers at 1730. My husband called him 3 times, no answer and never returned the phone calls. His tile guy caulked and re-grouted. Now all I can think of, is what if this keeps happening. He still has never called us back, he is not worried about our satisfaction or his "guarantee". He just wanted to make a quick buck. I am very disappointed in the entire project, when you spend a lot of money to remodel your home, you expect it to be perfect. What bothers me most of all, this man is not an honest or fair man. Be very careful if you choose to hire him.
