I was given a high recommendation to use this photographer for my wedding from one of my best friends that used them for her wedding in 2000. We hired Mike Brill (the owner and lead photographer) to photograph our wedding. We signed a contract and paid upfront for his services and a wedding album package. On a sad note, just before my wedding, Mike passed away. His second photographer Louis ended up taking my wedding photos and he told us not to worry, that he would be taking over the company and would follow through on our contract. Unfortunately, that's where the fairy tale ends. Louis is completely incapable of running a business and his poor customer service and lack of communication has left me and my husband without a wedding album that we have paid for!!! OUR WEDDING MEMORIES ARE LOST BECAUSE THIS MAN CANNOT RUN A BUSINESS!!! Here are the details: Our wedding was on November 1, 2008 and we received our proofs on Thansgiving Day. We were very excited to choose the photos that would go in our "wedding album." On January 20th 2009, I met with Louis from Ultimate Image photography to discuss artwork and the layout for the wedding album. He verbally told me that the proofs for the album would be ready in four weeks. Seven weeks later, I hadn't heard from him so I contacted Louis about the whereabouts of the proofs. He told me he would email them to me. I did not receive them. Three phone messages later, he emailed me the proofs. I had some changes I wanted to make and we set up a phone appointment to review the changes. He did not keep the appointment with me and did not call me back. I called him a couple more times without any response. I emailed him my frustration about his customer service and outlined my changes to the album proofs. He emailed me a couple days later that he would have the revised proofs by the end of the week. I did not receive anything from him as he had promised. At this time, my husband got involved and has left three voicemails for him without any response. At this point, I do not know why he is not returning any of our phone calls, if he will ever contact us or if we will ever receive our wedding album which we have paid for. In April, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Louis still fails to respond. If you are considering hiring this company, I would highly advise you against doing so.
