Called sunset honda for a alternator for my 99 civic they gave me the price and how long it would take to get in,said I was going to shop around and call them back.Then called santa maria honda and got a price,I thought it would be the same but santa maria price was like 70 dollars cheaper and I asked the guy why san luis was so much more and he said they charge msrp and I guess san luis honda charges alot more. My friend had something similar with buying a new car san luis gave him a price and santa maria was like 1500 dollars cheaper. Im not sure if their service is a rip off, i've never used their service dept. Avoid sunset honda if you can.
