I'm a 20 year old kid just looking to purchase my vehicle under my own credit, to make my own payments, with my own down payment. Still looking for a 2004 Honda Civic Si and I'm happy i didn't go with what they would give me. There was one on the lot, BEAT; front bumper missing with the head-lights caved in. I put it down that they will say it had a clean title, no accidents because that's what they're known for.
My first visit was on Saturday, everything seemed cool because they were showing good costumer care. I spoke to the General Manager "Chris" who also worked at Fullerton Auto Square where he ripped off my other friend in a 2007 Civic Si where the clutch was horrible and the engine was giving up. I asked Chris if he had the car I was looking for and he said to come on Monday around the afternoon. So, came today I called him during lunch and after work. At lunch he supposedly wasn't in, when it sounds like him on the phone. Called back after work and asked if they had the car that I wanted to see. He says, "Yeah, it'll be in around 3:45pm-4:00pm." Taking his word for it I came a little late just to make sure he would stick to his word. (4:30pm) I arrived and I was greeted by this unprofessional kid with messy hair and a "tail" like a teenager wearing jeans and brown skating shoes. Chris came out and said, "They forgot to pick up the car, and that it'll take 10 minutes since they're picking it up now." This place is sketchy as. Waiting, waiting, waiting. 45 minutes passed by, nothing. During the moments I was waiting, I asked to see my "dream car" back in high school which was the Mazdaspeed 3. I asked Chris, and two other workers for the keys. Chris said that he'll be out to show me the car again since I already saw it over the weekend. (Never came out) The other two both said the same thing, which was .. "We can't find the key." Biggest lie in the world, and I just happened to keep my mouth shut. Bout an hour passed and still nothing so I told my girl.. "Let's go." As soon as we get into the car, the General Manager "Chris" comes running up to my car asking me whoa whoa where you goin?! I told him that I couldn't wait, and he insisted that the car was pulling up when the car was nowhere in sight.
I'm happy that I didn't negotiate any deals with this prick and this sketchy dealership. I would have lost more money than gaining a vehicle of my choice. I usually never do reviews, but here's one for the books. SCKARS.com is a waste of time, they have "NICE" "CHEAP" cars in quantity, but the quality is a piece of sh!t. If it sounds funny, looks funny, and annoys you. You already know that, that gut feeling is the right answer. Never go here or ValleyViewusedcars.com or Valley View Motors in Santa Ana off of Harbor. They both had the 2004 Honda Civic Si, and both will rip you off.
This guy Ricardo at that place used a metaphor about me having kids with his dealership. How professional can he be as well? Well, this is for SCKARS.com or whatever it may be. I can careless.
Time to write about Valley View Used Motors.
*Here's a tip.
Take a look around the dealership.
If they have banged up cars with missing front bumpers, or caved in head lights or any of that sort.
Missing door panels and what not.
Don't go with them, they'll just use you.
I'm a 20 year old kid that observe and learns from what I see/experience.
Take that advice and go with it.
All these guys supporting this dealership is a bunch of liars.
Probably the kids that he hired. LOL
