I contacted Mr. Rooter because my sewer line was clogged. They sent down two technicians to unclog the sewer line. The tech. told me that the backflow device was clogged, and they started to attempt to remove the cover for the device but they did not have the proper tools, they used pliers,hammers and shovels trying to remove the cover, finally one of the tech used a hitch pin from a truck and a water meter handle that easyly removed the cover.
the tech took out the sludge that was clogging the pipe and tried several times to reinstall the cover without cleaning the pipe and cover that had mud and sand all around it!
At one time he told the other tech. "Ahh I think I cross treaded it!".
THE TECH. DAMAGED MY SEWER LINE!.
He then tried to use excuses to me that the pipe was oval shape and that the cover was alreadly cross treaded! The sewer line is "NOT" that old, it was intalled approx. 2 years ago with all new parts. the sewer line has never been serviced until now.
The tech. told to sign the reciept and I told him the description was incorrect, and he told me if you want a reciept you have sign it! he was just trying to protect himself because he knew that he damaged my sewer line.
The cover is barely on the sewer pipe and is going to give me future problems!
(BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY,THE OWNER REFUSED TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM AND TOLD ME GO AHEAD AND SUE ME!)
