SO GLAD I TOOK A CHANCE ON THEM... They succeeded where another law firm did a bad job for us and we tried to "go it alone"... and got denied... twice.
My husband and I just got behind on mortgage payments because I lost my job for a long time, switched careers but only make half of what I did before. We went to a different law firm in the beginning and they got us back up to current with the mortgage company, but what we in fact needed was a lower payment! Wrong solution.
So after getting stuck again, and that other firm left a sour taste about working through a lawyer, we tried to go direct to GMAC. And got denied, and denied again. We got a flier in the mail from Metropolitan Law Group. We were hesitant, after we spent $1700 on that first firm who didn't get our situation and just put a band-aid on the problem. We were at wit's end so we just gave them a call.
Marc Samson and everyone we talked to was very helpful, so we decided to work with them. And every time I had a question I got through to somebody. Very responsive. It was a great experience after all. They did a lot of work for us to try to get a good resolution. Erica was very understanding. When I would call she would always greet me by first name, because she knew me and it was clear they were paying attention to my case. With Craig, I never felt rushed. He would talk half an hour to answer any question I had.
Our monthly payment is lower by $350, which makes a difference now that we have some breathing room--and our house! I'm very happy and I definitely recommend them to anybody else. Everything was very straightforward. The fees were all spelled out and reasonable for the service that we got.
