I had never even visited this website until an unauthorized charge for $219 was pending in my bank account from handhelditems.com!? Because this was a pending charge that had not yet been posted to my account my bank told me to contact the company to notify them that it was fraudulent and to have it removed before it was posted to my account. I spoke with a lady in customer service who pulled the order up, spoke with her supervisor, and told me that they could see it was fraudulent and that they would cancel the order immediately so it wouldn't be taken out of my bank account. Well, the next morning I checked my bank account and sure enough they had put the order through anyway, and the money was taken out of my bank account. Furious at this outcome, I called back and spoke with the same lady in customer service, who was actually very sweet, and she said her supervisor was supposed to have cancelled it right after we got off the phone the night before. She apologized for what happened and said her supervisor would be back in the office within 30 minutes and that she would have him call me as soon as he stepped in the door. Needless to say I am still awaiting that call and had to file a claim with my bank to get the funds returned to me. I am very skeptical as to whether or not it was a customer who used my credit card fraudulently, or this company. What company would knowingly authorize a fraudulent charge!? STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! (The only reason I gave this company a 1 star rating is becasue there wasn't an option to give them a ZERO star rating)
