dont shop here! totally unprofessional!
today my husband and i went to CFC in waynesville nc to shop for a bedroom suite. we found something that we liked but wanted to continue shopping elsewhere, just as most people about to spend thousands of dollars would do. a man named Daniel helped us. he was friendly and seemed eager to work a good deal for us. against our better judgement we left a $100 deposit on the suite we liked b/c Daniel said that it was the only one in stock serving 2 stores. we left and went to High Country where we found a better deal on much better quality furniture that we liked better. while we were there, Daniel called and said he had a salesman there in his store wanted to sell the bedroom suite that we had made a deposit on....and "what did we think?" we told him to sell it b/c we had found some things we liked better elsewhere. Daniel responded w/ "youre not even going to buy the mattress?" we responded no, and he said "well thanks for wasting my time" and hung up on us. we called back several times to try to speak to lynn, the manager on duty, but she never would come to the phone. we are currently disputing the $100 deposit due to the fact that other complaints im reading about make me nervous that we may have to go to battle for it. DO NOT SHOP HERE! totally unprofessional people!
